Ordered new all season tires for both mine and my wife’s Saturns... I went with LRR tires in hopes of better mileage, but they also should yield better acceleration, as they’re 19# each (205/65-15)...
I think the Lancer is a little bigger car than an S series and so the wing looks less out of place on there than on your car... I don’t like it with your unpainted bumpers and such but, hey, it’s...
Since the 03-06 Ion 2.2 doesn’t have HPT support I’m kinda stuck trying to trick the control module into thinking the motor is connected I guess?
I had no idea they had a controller for it... I’ve been wanting to turn mine off/delete it without the recurring error message every time I cycle the key, wonder if that would work?
I imagine you would begin by sourcing a column and associated parts from an Ion... I don’t know if the steering control module could be ran by itself or it would need the Ion BCM to tell it to work?
Installed a half width diffuser on my car last night... left half open for exhaust work that’s coming soon, didn’t wanna take it down and change it to fit new muffler and exhaust setup...
I’m just glad I’m not required to run a front plate lol...
Though I seen a front plate that moved as an articulated grille block, adjustable for different driving conditions...
Would look good on a SC, or maybe an Ion coupe... the sedan bumper is pretty round for that to look good IMO
That’s cool AF...
I started with a grille block and annular discs screwed on top of the factory wheel covers, and now have a lawn edging air dam, rear fender skirts, and a rear spoiler similar to what us sometimes run...
Just curious, but does anybody here mod their car for better aero? My focus (on the exterior of my car) is to reduce drag, but some people mod to reduce lift or increase downforce...
Curious as to if it could also be done on an Ion wheel... have a spare hockey puck wheel I could cut up and adapt an aftermarket one...
Drove my car almost 200mi today to correct a ticket I got on Christmas Eve for tails out... had to strip off the tint (plasti-dip) which took 3.5hr... after I got home I checked tire pressure and...
That sounds cool, just would hate to show up on the wrong day lol...
Just curious, but how do these meets usually go? Driving on all days, or showing cars and driving on certain days?
That looks pretty sweet! I’d love to see another R32 in person... last one I seen last winter while I was driving for Uber...
There was a guy on EcoModder that did a similar swap on his Dodge Magnum (just getting more holes) and I think he got like 5%, but I don’t know if I’ll get that much or not... Basically it could help...
I did a search and found these, same size as stock but 12 hole instead of 2, would require at least a connector adapter, maybe also fuel rail spacers... I also have yet to find them in a set of...
Only reason I settled on a 3” tube is because it helped the last L61 I ran it on, by around 2.5%, but that was an 07 Malibu and it had stock intake manifold... after doing the intake and the ported...
Drove my car again today, contemplating washing it, but put it off a while longer... got a new pic of it though, wanted to...
My first question on 6S!
Anyway, what I’m going for is to maybe update to some better injectors... what I have currently is the stock ones for the 03-04 L61, which are two hole and I’m not sure...
I’d almost bet that the radio from an 03-04 ION may work, since it looks nearly identical to the base cd unit used in the third gen S series...
Drove my car to the orthopedic doctor today to see about my recently broken thumb, found out it’s not as bad as the ER doctor said, he removed my temporary cast and gave me a really nice brace/splint...
I’m admittedly a little envious of your Sky, had halfway wanted to find a LE5 one and throw my blower/IM on it, but they’re still a little rich for my blood...
