    My s/c sc2 shooting flames

Friend of mine took this. I will try to get some better vids of the car driving once it has decent tires.

sick. I can only hope the coupe will be able to do the same. I couldn't figure out the damn rev limiter setup though the other day.

And what exactly is the benefit to this on a supercharged car?

Its just my rev limiter. Set it so it doesn't cut the fuel, no benefit except it puts a smile on everyone's face that sees it cuz its a Saturn.

I'd think cutting fuel would be much safer honestly.

Cutting both is the best option. If you gotta choose one, choose spark.

I didn't realize it was supercharged. I am less impressed.

I can cut both and I will prolly use that one for my auxiliary limiter for launch but I like having only coil cut for the primary.

Well my car hits the limiter alot in first and second gear because it breaks the tires loose so quickly and I would rather have extra fuel to keep the internals cooler. And shooting flames to me is pretty cool, you don't see it everyday around here even with turbo cars.

As for launch the progressive fuel cut is good because it holds the RPM better then no fuel cut. I have my system set so when my clutch petal is pushed along with a momentary button it triggers my aux limiter along with my timing retard. Once the petal is released the limiter is turned off and my timing comes back at an adjustable rate. I haven't had a chance to get this dialed in yet but I'm hoping it will help with traction off the line with some decent tires. A more consistent launch should help with a more consistent time in the 1/4.

I really just have it set so it shoots flames to impress my friends. And then the launch control wen I race, both limiters can be set so they cut fuel and spark but I think having a saturn that throws fire is cool so im keeping the fuel cut off for now.

So to answer ur question im just having fun with it for now. I dont hav the money for good tires right now so taking the car to the local 1/8 to dial in the launch control isn't happening any time soon.
