    Nice. Maybe.

But as for your taking off the orange sections, I honestly used my heat gun, used solvents, used force, and just gave up after a while lol.

    So until pics are seen..

i was thinking about this yesterday.. i mean i know i dont like to well ever use my high beams but others might... is there room to add two projectors in the headlight? the low beam and then i would assume a bi-xenon one or whatever its called for the DRL highbeam?

You don't use a low beam and bi high.

Bi means two. Therefore a bi projector is both high and low beams with an actuator that pivots the cut off shield.

    So no.

Furthermore you would have to chop the rad support to fit one in the high beam spot.

Find a small high projector or use a bi in the low beam spot.

So, I know a tsx projector will fit in the SL headlamps and probably the second gen SC, but I have never seen anyone do a third gen SC2 with tsx projectors. There is an old thread saying it was done, but the link he posted of his ride no longer works. Has anyone ever seen it done?

Same here. I have a pair of non yellowed 1g lenses that I want to chop up, but I'd like paint the brackets they sit in first. I haven't done anything with them yet because I can't seem to figure out how to separate the bracket and lense body without fucking them both up.

Do you need to separate them from the bracket to actually paint the bracket, as in the part that houses the aiming bolts? I suppose I am not as familiar with the 1st gen headlamps, but wouldn't they just pop off with some force?

Yea, they really need to be separated to be done right. I really don't feel like trying to tape off every square inch of the lights. Some spots are impossible to cover with the bracket in the way. I'll see if I can grab some pics this weekend.

Has anybody taken apart 1g lights before?

You dont use just a bulb. Go to theretrofitsource.com and check out their stuff. For a proper projector kit, itll cost somewhere north or 300 bucks

Shop around junk yards and ebay for some decent projectors. TSX projectors will pop up on ebay for decent prices on occasion. I got two for $120 which was very reasonable. Then use theretrofitsource.com and get the harness and bulb kit, they will be the cheapest for that part of the retrofit. As for the deep blue bulbs, they kinda look sweet but they are definitely not going to help visibility. Highest visibility happens around 4300k which is almost pure white. Pnp hid kit FTL

edit: not to continue to thread jack or anything, but --> http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2007-20...#ht_500wt_1202
