    I could be way off here but I believe he sourced the cables from McMaster Carr. You could probably piece together the kit except for the custom bracket.

    Were both cables 2" travel? of my the cable ends broke and i ordered replacements and then the crimp on of those failed. trying to reuse the one good old one and i cant get enough travel on the forwards backwards shift cable. no way its 2".

    Just following up, i've personally ordered more cables and i have problems with the crimps failing on the ends. had to limp home in second (thank god i was only 15 minutes from the house and could go by slower travel). thinking i need to either find a different cable vendor for retrofit OEM's with rod ends.

    I need some shift cables. Any chance I can buy a one off set?
    Beige 93 SC2, fully loaded, MS3 Pro, 150 shot nitrous, Walbro 255, high compression. 155hp/296hp

    I tried buying a one off set a couple years ago because ATP aftermarket cables are junk. He said the ones he had in reserve he was saving for warranty purposes for existing owners.

    Didn't he post a parts list? I thought the custom work on these was mostly building the list.

    Hein posted a link to the invoice in one of the shift cable related threads. Anyway, here are some specs and the Midwest Control part numbers for the shift cable components:

    Conduit & Core: 40 Series Nylon, High Efficiency
    Bulkhead Conduit Fitting: BCE-40-HE (5/8"-18 Ext Thread)
    Cable End Rod: CER-40-2-HE (Male 1/4"-28, 2" Travel)
    Spherical Rod End: MTF-4 (Female 1/4"-28, Zinc-Plated Steel, Teflon Race)
    Rod Seal: CRS-40
    Tube Seal: CTS-40

    Assembly: 48" Overall Length, 2" Travel

    ...information I have for no particular reason.

    I've had two sets of cables break from the sheathing failure. maybe try to get cables with more than 2" because i think the throw for forwards /backwards is right at 2" at the tower. I gave up and found a new set of OEM shift cables. never gunna be tight anyway cause the shift tower is worn out...
