    Android OBD2 Apps/devices

What kind of Android OBD2 Apps & devices are you guys running? I'd like to pick something up to use on my Razr (or perhaps use my OG Droid in a more purpose-specific setup), and would like to know what you've had success with.

I use the Torque app and an ELM327 Bluetooth OBD2 connector from eBay, works great. Ran it on my OG Droid and now my Galaxy Nexus as well.

I have the same as steve. I haven't tried the export feature on my new phone yet and my old phone sucked.

Works very well, especially for the price.. my friend and his $200 scanner seemed frustrated when I showed it to him.

Now I'm just debating which bluetooth module to get. Some are as cheap as $15-20, but have poor reviews (dropped connectivity, etc). PLX has one for $100, but I haven't found any clear reason why someone would buy that over one of the better quality generic ebay ones at less than half the cost. Frustrating when it's not clear when the difference is anything more than the price.

I would not buy the $100 one, I have not had any problems with the ELM327

I ended up ordering this one from Amazon due to good reviews, low price, and Amazon Prime eligibility. I'll supposedly get it saturday.

That happens more often than not with Prime for me, so worth the money if you buy a lot on amazon.

I have a obdlink scantool and I fucking love Torque. I'm constantly learning new stuff when I use it. Data logging is nice to have in the palm of your hand.

Sitting in the kitchen watching your engine warm up to 100°freedoms is a big convenience as well.

Had one and loved it until it decided to stop reading any and all Saturns. No idea why, but it was awesome when it worked, especially for data logging and gas mileage. Gonna order me another one here soon.

I just tried out my new ELM327 with torque. I can connect to device, but it won't connect to the PCM, continuously searches for which protocol to use.

Any advice? I guess some people have issues with the OBd connection pins wiggling loose. Will your guys apps tell you what com protocol the 2 gen cars use?

I just downloaded torque and purchased a Bluetooth adapter. Excited to see it work. Does anyone know if there is away to use the app through your windows laptop? I can use my galaxy s5 but it would be nice to use both.
