The fuel system seems to be working...i have no clue what happened. The only thing i can think.of that makes sence is that the fuel pressure regulator was very hot and the tension in the spring relaxed.

    No update.

I was planning to install a pair of rear tires with better tread (still hard as plastic but they do have tread) this weekend but the rear brakes on the truck started making metal to metal noises... So I will be installing new shoes and drums tomorrow.

So this happened yesterday on the way to the track.

And then about 15miles later I started to get a slight electrical fire smell and I noticed the coolant temp started rising. The cooling fan shit the bed. Its a good thing Jay was at the track with his truck. He followed me back and I made it only a few miles up the highway before it started overheating again. It go so hot that the overheating warning light turned off. I will have to double check how I had that set up on the megasquirt. We ended up taking the hood off and putting it in the back of Jay's truck. It was still running warm but it stayed at a consistant 220F - 222F going about 75mph.

I got the new fan installed last Sunday. I also installed a two pin weather pack connector to easily remove the fan in the future if I need to.
I took the old motor out and tried to find a replacement so I could have another fan on stand-by in the future but I cannot find this specific motor.
Its by a company called TRIPAC, p/n: 15-2001W.
I can find thin pancake motors by them but not this big beefy thing. It may be a special motor made just for Derale fans.

I took the car to get weighed in today on a corner balance machine. Not for actual corner balancing but because the machine gave me a center of gravity. With the center of gravity I can determine what is called the anti-squat line. You can make the rear lift up or squat based off of where the imaginary intersection line of the four link bars. Theoretically you want the intersection right on the line so that the rear does not lift or squat as the movement or the rear suspension absorbs some power, power you could be using to move forward.

Anyway, The car weighs 2835 with 3/4 of a tank of gas without me in it.
The center of gravity, with me in it, it right at the driver's seat 14 inched off of the ground.
Now I need to get a good side view picture of he car so I can make some scale drawings and overlay the four link position options.
I may input the measurements into a drawing program... Even something like paint has the graduation on the side bars so I can make a scale picture.

If I can be of any help, I'd be happy to. If you provide the side pic and wheelbase, Its pretty easy to overlay some geometry lines in Solidworks. Numbers would be easy then.
It's not my fault, blame the radiation.

I do plan to take some side pic and over lay.

I was just showing the wife how I would to it in Paint.
I will also need to measure my 4-link brackets and holes so I can see the adjustments.
