Moog "Problem Solver" worked well on my 2007 Ion 3 with clunking lower control arms from the factory. They seem to have higher quality rubber and more thought in the design. The OEM parts failed after 30k miles.

Installed new radiator and transmission cooling lines, just so happened to be 65f today, so I took advantage.

    Not too hard to do.

My Astra now has 4 less Opel emblems and 4 more Saturn emblems.

Swapped from my Opel rims that now need new tires to a set of factory Astra 17" alloys with Michelin Ice-X.

Put the engine splash guards back on each wheel well so I'm not dousing the belt in mud and sand any longer.
Also lowered the tire pressure in the BFGs to 20psi to help with ride quality.

Going to put the turbo equipment back on the silver car so I can do something to it. Still need to go thru and get crank signal back and spark going again... :P

I gave my '92 SL2 to a friend (mechanic) in BC who has a good home for orphan vehicles (and a tall garage). That's way better than a random stranger on Craigslist.

I hope to move from my condo in 18 months and acquire a small rural home with a garage. Then I may get back to Saturn wrench turning.

25 years later with new owner ...

Dropped off my Fluidyne radiator to see if this shop can pressure test and fix the leak it has.
The top and bottom "flutes"/channels look ballooned out. My only theory is someone ran water in there and it froze.

Hopefully they come back with good news since I'd hate to scrap one of those rare radiators.

My shifter cable let loose in my car, so i swapped out to my stubby shifter and drilled a hole through the bottom connection point for a bolt and some washers.

Drove mine to work today. Also ordered a spark tester with the adjustable gap. My theory is that the weaker coils will have trouble jump the larger gaps that the stronger/good coils can arch. I can use the spark tester mode on the MS3X to turn on a coil and run the test for each coil. ... I really wish the MS3x would set cylinder specific misfire codes. It would make everything so much easier.

The end of an era began today.I'm replacing my Swagon which has served me well with a 2010 6 speed Mazda 5. 6speed! (Hard to find at my pricepoint which was less then 2200 )

3rd row life here I come(with 4 kids there's no way to avoid a 3rd row vehicle). I learned a lot with my gem of a wagon. First Saturn's rock. 206k miles still going strong.

I learned how to diagnose issues. And I learned how to maintain a vehicle properly along with my favorite lesson how to drive a manual.

Nice. I like the 5. We were looking for those, but stumbled across a good deal on an Odyssey. I still kinda wish we bought a 5. Next time.
