That car wasn't able to stop in time and I watched it drive off into the ditch and finally stop more or less in line with my car in the grass to the right.

I was still watching that car when... Boom. I was rear ended by a different car. You can see the tire marks from the first car in the grass in the first picture.

Unlike my last few wrecks, the other guy was nice and did what he was supposed to. Got all his info and have already filled a claim with his company.

He said he was confused by what the first car was doing and watching to make sure it didn't flip. Then looked back and there I was.

Looks worse than it is. Should be a relatively easy fix. Might actually have a shop do it though since parts availablity is an issue.

Terrible. Your insurance must be having a field day with your payments. Seems like you're target practice for terrible drivers. Glad he did the right thing.

Earlier this week, the most critical part of my plan to park the SL this winter came in. Hub adapters for the S60 R. So now junkyard sourced, 17in 5 spoke GM steelies will bolt up to the wierd volvo bolt pattern, and clear the dinner plate brakes.

Had some time today, so I tinkered with the SL, and actually got it running! Seems at 186k the fuel pump is being flakey now that it's not being driven daily...and sat for months. I also threw on some slotted front rotors I've had forever and actual OG Saturn front pads I've had sitting around. The dead front pads are what sidelined it this year. It will at least move now.

Does the s60 have lug bolts or nuts?

I moved The SLno1! Turned it around in the driveway even. The fuel pump kicked right on without any persuasion this time, so maybe it was just cranky from sitting.

What did you do to your car today?

For those who don't feel like doing math that's 45.6mpg on the highway averaging 65-70mph in my dads SDA N/A build tuned with the TECS. Fuel economy when you want it and power when you need it all on the same tune.

Cleaned up the garage with the wife's help and organization guidance, so both the daily's (dailys? dailies?) will sleep warm this winter. SLno1 is going to hibernate off-site this year.

As some of you saw on the Facespace group i recently swapped engines in the sWagon (98 SW2a).

I'm going to make sure i did everything correctly and it runs well before i tear apart the 00 SL1m i'm driving now for parts. I'm going to put the 5 speed, subframe, and all 4 motor mounts into the sWagon in the near future.

And i'm going to open up both of my vue clusters to tape off the one light then put them up in the for sale section since i can't use them anymore.

I did this last night as well. Yesterday morning I walked out to go to the gym and was hit by a sudden 'WTF ITS COLD' feeling. No more of that.

Yea, and no disrespect to the lesser mechanically inclined, but watching my wife operate an Ice scraper (or any tool for that matter) is down right funny. Again, no offence, she has lived in snow belt her whole life, scraped plenty of windshields and gotten by fine, she just holds tools wrong.

We have never had it on the dyno. I've just street tuned it. It's not a very aggressive build (mild street cam) so I don't think it's breaking any N/A power records. It's definitely peppy though.

What did you do to your car today?

Spent about 8 hours cleaning the Saab. I went all out. Hand washed, clay bar, polishing compound, and then a ceramic coating over everything.

Next time I am going to buy a buffer. My arms are freaking sore as hell now Lol

Beforehand. See the swirls and crummy looking paint.

After. ( donít mind the dent on the fender. Still from the deer)

I am going to add another coat of ceramic next weekend then maybe some wax on top of that.
