On Sunday I finished up my suspension/brakes refresh project.. car rides much more smoothly now.. still needs an alignment though.

I failed to check the forecast and left my summer tires on there unfortunately .

Don't they make fertilizer out of turds?

I worked on the car today. The #4 cam sensor (bank 2, exhaust) was noisy. The reading would jump around by 10-15 degrees even though the cam was not moving. I ended up having to install a small capacitor between the 5v ref line and engine ground. It cleaned the signal up nicely.

Started wiring up the EDIS to the MS3. Need to figure out if MS3 Pin 1 just stays open/unused since only PIP[Pin 24] is used to input tach signal to the MS.
Used a barbed brass fitting as a replacement piece for my BOV v-band clamp, lulz.
Washed out the IC piping real good to remove any shavings from the cutting/welding.

Still need to order that mushroom filter.

I went out Thursday to start wrapping plastic around the garage when i noticed my brother in law plowed all the snow directly into my garage. Sure it's empty right now, but still, kind of a dick move.

Then i saw he piled a bunch of snow in front of the Z and just left in anger.

I might get out there again tonight and jump on his beloved John Deere to move the snow myself.

I drove the turd to work today with the new clean input signal on the #4 cam angle sensor. I was able to cruise in 6th gear @ 70mph without it bucking and missing ( i have been using 5th and more rpm in the past to keep it from missing). The ECU must have been thinking that the bank 2 exhaust cam was moving and it was trying to adjust it making it buck around 2,000 rpm. It still has a little nibble of a mis in that area when I move the gas pedal, but if you were not trying to feel for it you would miss it. I think I need to adjust the cam angles/overlap and/or the timing in that area a little to get rid of the nibble.

Found out the turd can't go through automatic car washes due to it being too low. Just felt every joint on the wheel track as what i can only hope to be the body seam dragged along the inner guide. Guess I'll be cancelling the unlimited plan i signed up for...lol.

Got around to mounting up the SRT4 radiator in "Soap" [Offroad turd].
I shan't be having problems with bottoming out the front end into a whoop and bending the radiator to fuck again.

Finally got the lights for the instrument cluster/dash working this weekend. I was unable to find the short so I just ran a new circuit.

After my transmission install i never had the time to go back and double check to see if everything was still tight.

Got under my car last night and looked things over. The Passenger side drive shaft support (that bolts to the motor). One of the bolts were gone, the other two were half way out. The driver's side swaybar end was loose, so loose i could wiggle the sway bar around. And the driver's side axle nut was loose too.

I need to tighten up that axle nut some more tonight or tomorrow.

But the car is a lot more quite since i tightened up that junk.

I ordered a new transmission mount, and arranged to borrow a welder. If it ever stops raining this week I'm going to fab a new bracket for the trans TAM and weld it to the sub frame since the frame around the original attach point is done for. I'm also going to swap the lower dogbone, clean and reseal the valve cover gasket (thought I could get away with no RTV, I was wrong), and hopefully NOT have to reseal the oil pan.

Well, yesterday I swapped the lower dogbones, and re-sealed the valve cover gasket and put some exhaust sealer over the last guys shitty weld job. Today I wiped the standing oil off the bottom of the block and trans, a drove it around for a while. I think the valve cover was the only leak, no puddles yet.
