Worked on replacing the ball joints on the Jeep. Couldn't find my grease gun and ran out of propane for the heater. So I said fuck it and will finish it next weekend.

Well broke down and turned on the daisy heater in the garage, and tackled the top motor mount. Needless to say it was a 30 minute job, that was easy, and removed 99% of the vibration. I suspect that the other mount should be replaced as well, but under warmer conditions. Happy for now.

I found the same results with my top mount swap. Never did the bottom. Improvement was huge.

It's really a bummer that saturn didn't do a better job on these. They are so critical

I found the old style tams on rock auto a few months back. They only had a few left at the time. Hopefully it will last longer then the frown face mount.

I currently have ~$850 in wheels and tires in my DTD shopping cart. With the current sale, discounts add up to $320 off, so I can get it for ~$530. Waffling on pulling the trigger. I'm cheap.

Tax return season. Unless you're like me and probably end up with 100 buck or owe money again.

Or you need some surprise dental work! Hmmm, oral health that can grow to directly impact your quality of life, or sweet sweet summer rubber?
It's not my fault, blame the radiation.

I kind of got lucky with that today.. my dentist is a block over from where I work.. ran into them at a soda machine... they hit me up to do the filling I'd been putting off so I got that done on lunch break today at work.

Tomorrow at Noon I will be washing (by hand) my Saturn to get the the nasty salt and sand off. Temps are supposed to be in the mid 40s.

And ordered a few new parts, ECTS, MAP, Thermostat, IAC and the Intake Temp sensor.

Earlier in the week, Stainless steel brake lines, as some of you had probably seen in the facebook group. Still tapping bubbles out since I doofed, but its getting nicer and nicer <3

Also, my ebay DEA solid TAM mount I bought a year or two ago that had a 2016 or 2017 production date has held up very well, I have been very pleased with mine. Additional vibration was benine, and as with any TAM change, don't forget to zero out your torque mounts.

Tried to take the turd to work today since it's gonna be in the 50's. Was completely unsuccessful as it has sunk into the mud up to the frame over the past few months. Snapped the rope i was using with the tractor so i gave up and called for a ride. I'm gonna take it as a sign that it wasn't ready to wake up yet...lol

    1) Setup my cnote speakers in the garage. So much better than a little usb bluetooth speaker.

    2) Build 3/4 of the Bentra Exhaust

I'm a few days late to the "today" part, but last Sunday I was able to work on the turd a little. I have been having misfire issues and needed to test the spark on the coils.
I got a spark tester and opened the gap on it almost all the way and was able to determine that at least 2 of the 6 coils were bad. I was able to test only the 3 coils that were accessible without removing the upper intake manifold. I ended up replacing coils 5 and 6.

It drives a shit ton better but still has a slight miss. I think one of the 3 remaining coils is weak too. I will have to pull the upper intake off and test those at a later date. And test my last spare coil too to see if it is any good.

For those of you not on Facebook. Super happy with the retrofit big thanks to Dylan Nelson. He mounted the projectors and all that. I sanded the lenses down and polished them.
