Since the start of our 5th season [pot hole season] I need to get the offroad turd back on the road and air down the tires. Im pretty sure I just bent a wheel on the Corolla in the mother of all potholes this week.

It's getting there. It starts and drives. Just need to weld the charge piping back together and I'm sure it needs an alignment.

I got my first speeding ticket In over 8 years.

    80 in a 55.

    A $250 ticket.

Just glad it isn't worse like careless driving or something. I was actually up to 84 at one point.

I really have no idea where the cop was either. I was on a super dark unused road with no traffic. I was running some obd2 scans on the Saab so after the quick run I was just sitting there looking at the data log. Next thing I know there is headlight behind me. Once I start pulling forward the red and blue turned on.

Might be worth getting a lawyer. I recently got popped doing 82 in a 65. Hired a lawyer for $125 and my ticket turned into a parking ticket. Had a clean license beforehand.

Got my front struts back from Dynonacht using his wall mount spring compressor to swap them ( BMW springs don't play nice with the rental type spring compressors. There isn't enough room to get them compressed enough )

I'll put them on tonight probably, along with new pads/rotors, and rear struts ( 100k on them has it bouncing all over the place )

The Mountaineer had been sitting in the field behind our apartment for a few months and had snow plowed in front of it.

Management wanted all things (Vehicles, trailers, ect) removed from the back lot so they could plow that. Then all of our vehicles needed to be moved back to the back lot so they could plow the regular parking lots.

The battery was frozen so i had to pull it and set it in the bathtub over night. Plugged it back in and jump started the truck. Climbed over/through the 4 foot high pile that was shoved in front of the truck like it was a pile of warm butter.

I miss driving that thing. But i DO NOT miss the 16 MPG's.

Thawing the battery for the mountain again.

"all cars must be removed from the back parking lot in order for our plowing company to keep the lot cleared incase more snow falls, we can have residents park back there."

So now the regular lots are going to be full of unused vehicles and i wont have anywhere to park when i get home from work at 3 am.

    FANTASTIC!!!

Tonight Jay and I played "cars." Took off the upper intake manifold to test the remaining three coils that I could not test before and found that two of them were being "stoopid;" one a lot more than the other but still two turds floating in the punch bowl.
I ordered two new coils, they will be there this weekend.

So after replacing two of the six before and two more this weekend, that makes four of the six coils were shit. And only two good coils out of the three spares that I had...so I had to order two more.

Ya for old junk yard coils fucking up my mojo.

Installed OBX header on my 1996 Saturn SC2. Now it has whistle sound when accelerating, which is kinda annoying. Anyone know if there's an easy fix for it, it's coming from exhaust flex?

Those things are known for leaking at the first flange after the head. And having shitty flex pipes.

I wanted to get a set of Hankook RS4's for the wagon but they are ALREADY out of stock..... I'm quite upset about this.

Not sure if I should go with the Rival S 1.5 or RE71R

    1. Re-routed the Intercooler cold side charge piping so that its not half way in the wheel well
    2. Installed the AMR radiator in the stock location and am planning to just run two smaller fans vs. the big Derale.
    3. Lost one of the little centering pins for the damn BOV v-band clamp and am not going to pay 36 bucks for another whole one... Time to fab one up.
    4. Got both the motorcycles running and froze my bits off cruising around this weekend

    Summary: Rather productive weekend
