How are your motor mounts? The upper mount on the passenger side is notorious for causing vibrations when it is end of life. If you can insert a pinkie finger between the metal and rubber it is ready for replacement. All 4 mounts should be replaced in and around every 10 years if OEM.

Unfortunately the Saab has become a more of a money pit then a turbo Saturn. Oil pressure light started blinking right after changing the timing chain back in November. So instead of taking it to Arizona this weekend I am getting the Saturn ready for the trip again. The new motor has 10k miles on it as of today. New plugs and a oil change should be all it needs.

    It definitely needed plugs.

I’m not worried about the oil leak around the plugs right now. Just kinda concerned about the plugs looking like that after maybe 8k miles. The ones were it wasn’t leaking oil are really crusty. The electrodes look good. No major carbon or oil on them. Oh well.

What did you do to your car today?

Maricopa and chandler. I go every Christmas then again in the spring/summer. Last Christmas the tranny took a crap on the Saturn. Last spring I hit a deer in the Saab the night before I was going to leave.

Flying is even worse luck. Lol

So i am still hanging around the edges. Still have the 95SC2 Sold the 92 teal coupe to a guy in LA he drove it home 1800 miles in 2 days. i was pretty impressed it was running a megasquirt and the tune wasn't that great. Junked the 94 SW2 due to trailing arm rot. that was great car 600 and I drove that for at least 200k. Bought a 99SW2 that needs A LOT of work. Its sitting in the garage. Bought a Audi C5 Allroad running stage 3 at 400 whp moves pretty good for a 4300 lb wagon.

Saw you towing that S-car on a U-haul trailer. Didn't look like that thing was squatting at all. Is the stock suspension on there?

The Allroad is a factory air suspension. self adjusting and locks at level 2 for towing. pulled that trailer and car like there was nothing back there.

Makes me want to install bags in place of the bump stops in the Vue. The rear suspension is too weak [Megan springs and KYB Gas-a-justs] for towing a car on a trailer.

Drove my car again today, contemplating washing it, but put it off a while longer... got a new pic of it though, wanted to share...

It shows off my aero modding... I use lots of coroplast usually, as I get it for free most times...
    2004 ION-2 sedan, L61/F23(M86), 159k and counting...
Too many mods to list in sig, I don’t believe in “stock”...

Forgot to mention before buying the Veloster... Was on my way to my second date in 10 years, and the (presumably) valve body on the car started going apeshit. Shifts are mostly delayed and or super hard. Downshifts are horrible. Shifts ok if you are accelerating at high throttle position though.

Changed air filter, cleaned connection to the 02 sensor hopefully stop triggering a false code. Put new terminals on the battery and some of the autozone special terminal kit to hopefully stop the damn things from corroding. Second time in like 6 months I've had to clean the corrosion from the original terminals.
    Ugh....Saturn Owner in rehab.
