Yup, I've done that. I still have a stash of 100watt bulbs I bought right after George made them illegal.

^I should clarify my earlier comment. Lemons guys aren't really preheating their oil, they are just preventing the coolant (water only per track regulations) from freezing on nights when it gets cold.

Not really looking for louder, and you are right, component speakers in front would be better. I looking for something that fits the car without bothering others outside a 35' Radius. No need for them to hear my stuff.

I'll see after I move to Washington in 2 months

Been running the crap outta my car lately... I started ridesharing again, so lots of city driving on rough roads and stop/go... car takes it like a champ, though I’ve figured out the ported IM makes it less hill friendly due to slight loss of low end...

Ordered new front wheel bearings and drag reducing clips and a set of Stoptech pads... should have less rolling resistance and better stopping power than before...

Installed new wheel bearings, Stoptech brake lads and drag reducing clips yesterday, now the car handles and brakes more confidently, and is quiet to ride in again. I had a wheel skirt come off as I was driving though, so now I gotta repair it and improve my mounting...

Was given an 01 L200 to use as a daily since my Jeep has developed a major rust issue. Decided to not sink anymore money into that pile. Seems to be in pretty good condition, was owned by my buddies father-in-law until he could no longer drive. On the surface, it seems to only need a battery, brakes and an oil change. Brought it home this past weekend and hope to get it registered next week. I plan on using it until I can get my turd back together and over the winter until I get a new truck.

L series rear suspension has stupid sealed spherical bearings that are delicate. my mothers car has well over 200K miles and it runs like a champ. we use synthetic oil and ATF. i think it was the year they ran the >10:1 compression engine

Set a new tank record in my car today... about 50 miles of two lane, half of which were driven using advanced hypermiling techniques and 60 miles of freeway at 60mph... total tank average was 54.2mpg

Ok going to take that chance. Bought the M1-102A Extended performance mobil 1 oil filter, as well as 5w30 full synthetic oil. My car does not burn oil @ 202,681 so Figured why not . In 2 weeks it will be on a dolly on the back of a uhaul headed to Washington state, (Yakima). do plan on Taking the side trans pan to check the nut on the input shaft nut, (already have the Sonnax VB) tighten it up a bit before trying to hit Snoqualmie Pass Summit.

Pulled the new L into the shop today to give it a good once over and an oil change. It seems to be in pretty good condition. Some dings and such but everything works. A slight lifter tap the motor had went away with the oil change. Going to need front shocks and brakes. I'd like to swap the rear drums to discs...will see what I can find at the pick and pull when the weather gets better. The wiper and turn signal stalks seem kinda loose, looks like the switches have a lot of play in them. Gonna get it registered this week and see how it does.

Sound like summer is coming. I am thinking disc as well for the rear.
