Anything would be better than the useless cup holders in the 2nd gens. Have a large cup in the left cup holder? Forget 1st gear. Have it in the right cup holder? Forget 5th gear. Even with an extremely shortened shifter it's a pain in the nuts.

I always hated where the cup holders were rearward of the shifter in my IS, but then I got another Saturn and wished I had the IS cup holders back. They were fucking perfect in my MKV Jetta. If only I could devise a way to make those work in the Saturn.

99 SL2 Turbo - Parted out the turbo bits and putting it back to stock. It's already sold in it's stock form.
    00' SC2 DD - SOLD
2015 Fiesta ST - Recaro package. More fun to drive than a turbo Saturn and more reliable.

A "big gulp" cup fits in between my ebrake handle and the passenger shoulder belt buckle. I also can get a can in there pretty easy. You can slighty pull the ebrake handle toward you and put slightly bigger items if need be. First gen sucks. I absolutely just want my second gen coupe back, atleast it had cupholders.

I will figure something out. No cup holder sucks balls my 95 has them and a short shifter no problem. It looks like I can't use a latter console. Ebrake is different

Yay for 3rd gen console and door panel and coupe seats! 8 cup holders! 2 drinks per passenger. Or just 8 for me.

I always had luck sticking it next to the parking brake. I hate the 2g cup holders for anything besides a small bottle or can.

On my 2g coupes it was easiest to just reach back and have drinks in the rear middle cup holder.

Easy. Rip out the center console from the rear of an SC, cut off the back part, turn it around, and screw it in. 882693_10200926535141388_259131745_o.jpg1487349_10200926534701377_1915107627_n.jpg1495183_10200926535101387_1716005089_o.jpg

I'll admit, adapting the coupe rear console is actually a slick idea. The finished product is making me twitch a bit, haha. Is whats pictured the done deal, or is it still in progress?

Still in progress technically, but it looks so good in real life that no one has noticed, but I do want to fiberglass it in permanently.

I also used an angle grinder and a file to do that. You might use a jig saw or something better. Make sure you cut the slots for the seat belts or they will stay loose. Might be fine for some people, but I like my seat belt tight.
