So I've been running a manual oil pressure gauge for a long time now but occasionally it proves to be Un reliable so I'm making the switch to a digital pressure gauge, and this was my solution to the problem.

It's tapped for 1/8th ntp, plenty of meat on this adapter

I also was running into issues with the OBX down pipe running too close to my oil pan, it appears only I have this issue but I very very gently shaped the oil pan for clearance with a ballpeen hammer. The divots is the metal buckling to conform. No leaks at all, I just need to paint it

Come on guys I'm open for participation.. what throttle body should i throw on for shits and giggles? I'm gonna replace it all with a tweaked plastic manifold and ultimately ITb's any way, but i figured it would be fun to mess with it

Ahh yes, that would be nice. One of these days i'll have a turbo. If i get there i want to it right the first time, forged internal, quality - manifold, turbo, and inter cooler MS3 ect.. Unfortunately i dont have the money to do it right. and i don't want to dick around waist my money. The only reason i have a deebs build is because of my families machine shop and doing all the work my self. its all dirt cheap. i could not imagine paying some one to do the work for me, what a waist for the returns you dont get out of it

Haha minus the mismatched hood it is a grandma mobile. The auto tragic struggles to pick up a few balls of yarn from the CatLady's-"R"-Us store

I think I'll spite you and throw the rusty steelies back on with with 185/45's just for that extra wheel gap :P

Mini update: I haven't had much time to my self, but tis life. However I was very happy to score a used pair of Hein's 3/8" rear hub spacer for dirt cheap. They'll go on the back very soon.
As for the rest of my roller, I just need to finish the wiring for the oil pressure gauge, do an in-vent or re use my gauge pilar. And slap the radiator back on and fill it with fluids. Tweet the exhaust.
Then it's a fair amount of cosmetic work

Well it's been a while, I got a month off from college and some free time on my hands I got it running
I buttoned up all the details, I their aren't loose screws I hope
Mind you This is not my first endeavor I've been building and tinkering since a wee Ladd but the first words outa my dads mouth were "you got it running? I'm surprised you had everything really torn part" gee thanks pop haha

But none the less here are some pics

Finished the oil cooler and made sure there was no chaffing of the hoses with spiral wrap

I also kept dicking around with the oil pressure guage I could it get it to work, I made a remote mounting splitter and attached the sender and a industrial pressure guage to it and my electric was wayyyy off so I ditched it and went back to the cheapy manual guage for now

Also thanks to PVSaturns I got some rusty sprint 2.0's but I love emm I have them installed I'll show a before and after in my next post

I went a for a 70 miles test run, it's wonderful I forgot how quick it was, and also there was a mad rush to finish this because I'm auto crossing in Tennessee next week end, surprise! I get to take a unproven car 550 miles south, beat on it and make a return trip. Sounds like fun

Oil cooler lines look a lot like air compressor hose.. Back it into the garage a little more so the birds don't shit on the front of it

That what i told the guy from nappa , but they say "oil line" rated at 300 psi... when i pieced my system together i wanted mass volume and it not to be restiction that is 1/2" hose, in retrospect i could have gotten away with alot smaller

thank god nesting season is over not more bird shit

    Thank you man

As promised here are before and afters

And just for fun who does it better?

So in other news I'm running warm and I need help figuring out why, it fluctuates from I between 1/4 and climbs up to almost over half. Driving style affects it a lot, the harder u drive the hotter it gets and u need to coast to cool down, this engine always ran on the cold side. I don't think the core is bad and I wires the fan to run with the ac disconnected . It's only has a minimal effect

tank cap. Mine was doing that, it turned out to be loose. It's much happier now.

If your cap is tight, it's probably in need of replacement.

Our 95 climbs all the way up to red line before the fan kicks on when sitting in traffic. Caps go bad all the time. Very hit and miss with replacements too. Not a fan of the stock ride height with enormous chin spoiler.. Car is looking good!

I'll look Into that, maybe a pressure test too

The low down on the cooling system is as followed:

Unknown radiator that was flushed before installing
Mostly water in the system, I will drain and refill with 50/50
No leaks that I can discern
    New water pump
    Reused the thermostat from before
