That is a super loud color. Not really my taste, but go for it if you can. Pick up some extra body panels so you can swap back when all the Honda's keep trying to race you.

ricey is not what I would call that color, but, it's a bit much for my tastes. But hey, I'm old (by comparison to probably all the rest of you guys, anyway), so I should be more reserved in my color choices.

Should also be noted that that is a vinyl wrap. My friend just had his WRX wrapped in an odd color and it was a $3000 job.

Alilibaba. $260 for 1.5x20 meters. It is a bit loud but it is not matte black or white. Which I thought about doing but everyone has done it before. Course my wheels are not very subtle either.

DIY should be >500. I planned to do that. But If I can find a paint that matches with a matte or semi gloss look military green i'd go for it. Only problem with that is that i'd have to strip the car and do it the right way which would take forever -.-

If you're having trouble finding OD Green (OD = Olive Drab), then you need to look harder. if you're looking specifically for a color called 'military green' then that may be the entirety of the problem.

Lol.... tiny update in sorts. I ordered a small sample roll to see just how the color looks in person. It really isn't as loud as the bimmer pic.

Also to test out how easily it is to wrap something. I wrapped my old tablet which was painted the same color as my wheels along time ago. I was able to stretch the corners real tight. A lot easier then I thought it would be.

Early spring the wagon will be this color with a carbon hood.

    Necrophiliacs rejoice.

I am finally doing this. Different color with a color shift. The wrap is on order. Should be here Tuesday. We will Install Friday. I had a test sheet so I installed it on a fender.

Kinda cool how at certain angles it almost looks like thefactory color

My first thought was that it would be way too loud, but those shots of the test on the car really aren't too shabby at all. I'm also impressed how it will look like the factory color at different angles.

I wasn't too sure when I saw the color on the Bimmer. But, with the test panel your wagon is going to look awesome when done.

P.S. some of you guys are really starting to make me want to find a first gen wagon.

I'm really digging that color, especially with that color rim. How hard is it to do a wrap vs painting? Was planning on painting mine next spring but if I can grab wrap for ~$300, I might do that instead.

Oh, and first gen wagons are definitely where it's at. If/when I find a non rusted to shit one, i'm swapping my crap into it.

It is not really hard. It only took the two of us about 10 minutes to fully wrap that fender. Using the more expensive hexis brand vinyl made a difference. Cheaper stuff doesn’t have the pressure sensitive adhesive so it is too sticky to start. I did my hood a couple years ago with cheap carbon wrap. It looked like crap and was such a pain to lay down.

I paid 512 for all the material to do the wagon with some to spare. Time wise and effort wise I still think it is easier and cheaper then paint. Especially on our plastic panels.
