    Opinions on sw color

We got a late start working on this today. For some reason fed ex only brought one box then brought the second box 5 hours later. Main color is hexis lapis blue varichrome.

The roof and hood are 3m 1080 carbon.

A cool shot showing the texture on the roof ribs.

Love the carbon roof. Can't wait to see the completed car.

    Finished.

There are a few panels that we need to redo. The rear bumper for one. The front wasnít too bad. Split it apart and did the upper and lower sections separate. That allowed us to not over stretch a single piece. Overall Iím happy with it. We are not professionals yet so it was a major learning experience.

The vinyl still will show body damage and paint chips. I didnít think it would be real noticeable but it is.

That is peaking clear coat. Chromes will show it a lot more then standard colors. Carbon is thicker so it is not as noticeable. My hood has about 10 hail dents that are almost invisible.

Tips for those wanting to try this.

Order more then you think you might need.

Pull part the car as much as you can.

    Clean every edge

    Clean every corner

Clean everywhere you might not even think about cleaning.

Clean everything again just to be sure

We didnít notice Some sand worked its way out from under the taillight brackets. That ended up getting under the wrap when we pulled. It pretty much fucked up the wrap on top corners of the rear bumper .

Another thing donít forget to post heat the wrap when its done.
