    I have been using map daddy sensors for years. The original map sensor was noisy until i upgraded to the map daddy.


    Make sure you clean the solder flux residue when you are done.

    Another tip..cut the little peice of rubber hose a little long.

    Does MS have a built in adjustable MAP signal filter?

    I'm not sure I bought it new/used. I have only opened it to make sure the parts were there. I think there is a bag missing. Other than that I have just started reading the manual. So I'm not even sure what is what. I'm not diving in head first. I know a lot of you have built or have messed with megasquirt and trying to get as many helpful hints and tips as I can before I start

    The filter I'm referring to would be in the software, it's really helpful with big cams at idle. It just cuts out rapid changes in the incoming map signal voltage.

    No software filter that im aware of but i have never seen big spikes like you mention in the data logs.
