    Temp guage

I have something weird going on. My temp guage has a mind of it'd own. So everytime I step on the clutch my guage freaks out. Any ideas why? So when I step on my clutch my needle will drop all the way cold and all the way hot and stay at the hot zone. If I fiddle with the pedal it will make it fluctuate a bit but won't come back to normal. Please help!!!

Clutch is a normally open switch to ground. Feeds directly into the pcm.
Iirc only 95 was fed by a separate sensor, pre 95 was PCM controlled, 96+ was PCM and then BCM if I'm not mistaken. I think BCM started in 00'?

My money is on a bad ground to the PCM.
72 Charger: pissed me off, on jackstands.
95 SW1m: Dohc swap. DD. I can haz boost?

All OBD1 cars have a sensor direct wired to the cluster grounded through the cylinder head.
