Sorry for a lazy post, phone was trying to die.

The pre 90 NWC t5 is rated at 200ish FtLbs. The 90+ is considered World Class and will handle 350 FtLbs.
1988+ Mustangs had the WC transmissions, with a removable bell housing, the GM Bell housing will bolt to the ferd trans.

V8 GM t5's have a 22 spline input shaft, the v6's have an 11 spline input shaft.

    Isn't the Saturn clutch a 1" 22 spline?

Iirc, the research I did back in the day, it's a v6 input that matches. Been a while since that project quickly was looking like a worse money trap than usual.

Looks like mustangs were 10 spline
Some gm v6 were 11 spline
    Gm v8 were 26 spline

Well, all I know about this is I'm pretty sure in the s10 world of t5's they're really rare for a word class t5 to be in them. That's pretty much a ford thing I think. I've always read that the Chevy ones don't hold power for shit.

The 4.3 v6 bell housing matches v8. The 2.8 v6 and the old iron duke 2.5 share the same bell housing. Not sure on spline count, but I do have a t5 out of a 91 Sonoma 2.8 I could check if ya wanted.

Ok so I really don't know. How could you adapt the splines on the input shaft. The output shaft is a no brainer

That's what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure that was it.

What's the goal here? Find a trans that Siris can flat-shift that lasts longer than a month?

IIRC T5s blow up a lot more during Lemons/Chump than Saturn transmissions do.

The diesel in the Datsun is getting tired.
That truck with 230ish hp would be fun.
I know how to make 230ish hp cheap with a turd motor.
    Flatshift is life.

In a twisted way, I approve of this plan.
