    New way to tune?

So I have been looking a lot lately for ways to get my car to run with boost without a ms system. I think I might have found something but I am looking into it more currently. I was browsing around on this website and found a gm Tuner, they provided a list of cars that were compatible and the 'L-Series' was on the list from years "00-04". This made me wonder if the late 00 and 01 s- series were compatible as well. Not entirely sure but I am working on figuring it out.

    Here is the tuner: http://store.badnewsracing.net/HPTun...ite_p_283.html

Like I said, not 100% sure if it will work with the S-series but I am going to try it, what do I have to lose.
Only reason I bother is because I dont think I will be able to hook a megasquirt system up, I can barely wire in a simple electrical circuit, let alone a full fuel system circut.

Let me know what you guys think.

You could pay someone to do it for you.

Thanks folks. I looked into it more and yeah, it wont work. Is megasquirt the only way to really get a 'tune' for these vehicles? I will have to start working on my wiring methods and abilities if so because I don't think I will be able to do it.

I run, sell, install and tune Electromotive Tec systems but they are expensive. Very user friendly but you get what you pay for. Message me if you're interested.

Oh hey, you're the guy that bought my old car.

Yeah don't blow it up using half-assed fake chip tuning methods.. use a standalone or you might as well call that forged engine a paperweight.

But yeah, should really consider talking to importsdontlikeme about a TEC system. There are a couple of shops in your neck of the woods that will actually install/tune those apparently.

Okay, how expensive are we talking? i can make just about anything reasonable happen. Ill message you importsdontlikeme soon, gotta go to work now. Yes i am the one who bought the car from you, getting started on turboing it now. Taking small steps because I daily the car currently. Getting everything electrical set up first because that's my worst area of expertise, everything after wiring is easy but wiring is hard.

Megasquirt is an option, but I strongly encourage you to check out the TEC systems. People seem to have much better experiences with them. I got megasquirt running well, after some initial frustrations, but the people who run TEC seem to have their projects on the road much faster and with much less hassle.

I don't think anybody but nitrofumesrule has done much to a Saturn trans apart from a limited slip.
72 Charger: pissed me off, on jackstands.
