I still lurk around too. Had a baby back in April...she takes up a lot of my time. I have been trying to get a leak down test done since April/May and just got to it this last weekend.

Nah not really...... Oldest is 12, still a pain in the ass.
72 Charger: pissed me off, on jackstands.
95 SW1m: Dohc swap. DD. I can haz boost?

I don't think that ever goes away. As a pure timesuck, its hard to do ANYTHING with a kid under 2 around.
-
0-15 months is the easier you just chunk there ass in a swing or pack-n-play and work stopping every few hours to feed it and change it. 15 months-3 years is more difficult because they are into EVERYTHING and require constant supervision so they don't die.

I guess User expierience may vary.
With our 2nd who is now 16mo, his 4yr old sister pretty much plays baby police if we aren't hovering nearby. She alerts us if he gets things he isn't supposed to or needs help. Depends on the kid too, our first was a pain. She had to be with us, very social. Kid 2 is like me, as long as his needs are met, he's cool running around the house or following sister around on his own.

I haven't had a Saturn for years but I still stop in every few months and catch up on the 2 or 3 threads I missed lol. It's cool to see some of the old names pop up.

We must get together after the holidays. I need someone to come motivate me to fix the Saturn.

Mine is only 8 mo and she is already into everthing. She will not go into the pack and play. She just cries. She will go in the walker but has to follow you around to see what you are doing. She is very curious.

I haven't been up to much lately. I'll try to post a little more frequently. I still do a lot of car related stuff, just never post it on the internet anymore lol.

Wow.... You guys are still around, eh? It seems like you're all doing well, too. Good!
I haven't stopped by for a while, but the junkyard in town has an '01 SL in grey bronze just like my very first Saturn, which was also my first and only brand new car. That's why I am visiting the site today; I've been thinking about picking it up and recreating my old ride. I didn't get to have much time with that car before it was stolen and destroyed, but I really enjoyed that car while I had it. The fuel economy was awesome. (Especially compared to my daily driver '02 F150 Supercab 5.4 4X4.)
This photo is from right after I finished painting stuff in May of 2002,
and by August of 2002 it was stolen. 01.jpg
What do you think? Should I get back in to Saturns by buying a look-a-like turd and recreating my ride from September of 2000 to August of 2002? (I know I am asking a bunch of enablers.LOL!)
'02 Ford F150 5.4 4X4 XLT Supercab in Arizona Beige Metallic - Daily driver (plz send gas monies. Lulz!)
'83 Ford Thunderbird Heritage w/stock 5.0/AOD - Hershey bar brown velour interior and a dashboard like an Atari threw up on it.
6G75 swapped 2000 Chrysler Sebring Convertible JXi Limited - non-MIVEC to MIVEC swap under way.
Turbo OM617/4-speed manual swapped 1977 Mercedes-Benz 300D - mothballed for paint and body.

Hell, AJ just sold every bit of one just like it.
-
Haha. Is that a vote for yes?

I know I'm a little late to the party, but fuck it, go for it. I've been out of the game for seven years now, since my old roommate totalled my ION, but I picked up a '98 SW2 tonight and I'm already thinking about making a sick sleeper (as sick as a Saturn wagon can be anyway).
