    Fuel pump issue

I went to Walmart a few weeks ago on my 02 Saturn sc1 and when i turned the iignition it wouldn’t start so my first guess was the battery was dead but all my lights were working so i kick started it and It started for a few seconds and shut off now it wont turn over at all. I was told it might be the fuel pump but i just bought a new one and installed it but the pump won’t turn on and all my fuses are fine. Does anybody know what’s going on?

Did you try it outside of the car?

That’s my next option. I was told by a friend to wire it to my battery and see if it kicks on and if it doesnt take it back and get a new one

Tripple check your fuses, the one for the fuel pump is in the pass foot well. on the side of center console. Could also be the fuel pump relay on there.

Look up "Saturn F5 fuse or fix" and see if your problem fits that issue.

I doubt its the fuel pump. If the pump was bad it would still spin over.. just not start.
Is the security light on after you try to start it? If the theft deturrent is activated it will act as you are describing.
