Anybody run the Dragon Cherohala loop? 120 mile loop that might be fun. I'm looking at doing either this or a significant portion of the moonshiner. Thoughts? Suggestions?

We've done Cherohala before and it's a nice cruise. Lengthy. The moonshiner also looks long. You cruise part of it going to the resort we are staying at. Looks like it ends in Georgia. Not sure I'd want to go that far but maybe we can find some attractions along the route. We did that last time and it was a lot of fun.

Stuck packing all my shit to move to Indiana next month. Also working to fix the rear sway bar on the Vue.
So not having much fun thinking about the dragon yet.

I found that I was over 200 at all times while moving above 40mph since the timing advance at low loads wasn't advanced enough causing engine loads to be higher to maintain speed [limp mode 10* adv.]

Yeah, more advance will help it work less/run more efficiently. How much, Im not sure. The other guys who actually got their car running would know better. lol
I think the stock car runs like 30 to 40* in cruising situations.

Still waiting to get my car back. Now the body shop said maybe this Tuesday. Some parts I ordered on May 10 have not shipped yet. However they sent me an invoice so I'm going to assume they're shipping soon. I might get all of that just in time. I won't count on it. This who thing is just getting frustrating. Still excited to go!

I did order a turbo blanket, wrap and I'm installing a new OEM Saturn water pump I had. Ordered an ACdelco thermostat. Going to the yard today to see what I can find as far as air dams and such.

Run with no hood.
or let AJ blow on it.

No hood is more effective. I could squat on top though and act as a hood scoop.
