    Axle breaking point? 97 Sc2

Does anyone know about how much power the stock axles can take before they start breaking?

400+ sometimes. Think of them as fuses for your differential. You'd WAY rather have them break.

With sticky tires and a lot of grip, not long.

Front wheel drive normally gets a pass on weaker axles. Not enough traction to really hurt them. That and considering how light these turds are, you probably won't have much issue unless they are at bad angles or your running slicks and trying to get a sub 2 second 60 foot.
72 Charger: pissed me off, on jackstands.
95 SW1m: Dohc swap. DD. I can haz boost?

I'm not into drag racing but will have an occasion hard launch. My car should be in the 2000-2100# range and for tires I want to run raptor rikens 275/40 17 if i can get them to fit
