2g sc nose on 2g sw

    http://www.saturnfans.com/photos/data/578/3786SCW.JPG

somebody swapped a coupe nose onto an sw, proof in link. I'd love to do this to my 98 sw2 and I happen to have a 97 sc2 of the same color waiting for me in a nearby junkyard. although there seems to be a lot of information about swapping panels between gens, I can't find anything specific for this swap. I know I need the fenders and the bumper cover, but do I also need the hood/lights? also, one thread implied I might have to modify the fenders to make them fit. can anyone weigh in? thanks!

You can bolt on a coupe front end (ALL of it) to a sedan frame of simmilar generation. However, the fenders and doors will not blend/ line up nicely without fiberglass/body work.

I'm not sure if just the hood can swap. It will bolt on and should latch, simce thoes are in same place. I dont know about the fender gaps though.
It's not my fault, blame the radiation.

From what i recall the username was coppertop who did this and he lives in Brampton I think. He sold it to someone in the Barrie area (Andrew88?). Google Coppertop and Saturn and you'll likely find the build thread.

Edit: Post 83 of this thread >> https://sixthsphere.com/showthread.p...en-wagon/page4

You have to graft the front portion of the coupe fender to the rear portion of the sedan/wagon fender to make the body lines sort of work.

I was just doing some digging on google last night trying to figure this out.

The front skirt on my 98 sw2 is busted all to hell and i was looking to replace it with something a little fancier than stock, but couldn't find any aftermarket bumper covers at all for SWs, I assumed the SL was the same front end as the SW, but I wasn't sure if the dimensions were the same as an SC.
