    Ignition switch bypass?

Anyone have the wiring schematic for the ignition switch?

My 98 sw2 decided to stall at idle yesterday and now I have no power with key on. Im not sure if this is an ignition switch issue or a security system issue, but I already tired the security reset steps multiple times with no change. This is leading me to wonder if my ignition switch died.

You tried jumping the starter leads/posts with a screwdriver?
It's not my fault, blame the radiation.

It's not the starter solenoid, I have no power to anything with key on. I just got home and started messing with it, it's definitely the security system as I can hear relays engaging when the key is turned to on, I'm just not getting any power past that

    That will cause some issues.

    98 doesn't have a passlock system.

According to the manual it still has a security system. Idk what exactly that entails, but I know it has the standard panic alarm, and when I held the lock and unlock buttons on the remote, the horn honked four times and all the lights flashed.

It does have the alarm but the passlock BS that in the ignition cylinders started in 2000 when they added the BCM to the list of computers in the car.

So it doesn't need the chip in the key, but it does still cut the ignition/fuel pump power if the alarm is triggered
