The snap wrapping I was talking about is that plastic, corrugated tubing that protects the harness inside of it. But I am going back through and making everything better organized.
The unfortunate thing is I haven't found anything in the injector wiring to blame this issue on. I pulled the MS harness back through the firewall this evening and everything looked normal. So the search continues :/

Im tempted to take apart one of the failed injectors to figure out what it looks like inside. The 1000cc injectors looked melted, but the Siemens injectors looked fine on the outside.
After the re-wiring, I may just run stock neon injectors while I make sure it doesn't screw up again. I wonder if TurboSmart makes a super weak WG spring...
*edit*
The weakest spring is 3psi inner. I'll have to see if I have one kicking around in the assortment I already bought.

After rerouting the wiring and thinking about that loose connection, that's the like culprit to fry the injectors. It didn't help that I had 10 amp fuses on the circuit as well...super easy to blow those things away. Let's see how things work out now with the fuse block screws locktited and with 3 or 5 amp fuses, haven't decided since the Siemens deka injectors draw 1 amp at full load.

Found out I had the wrong wideband settings. I followed the DIYautotune instructions and got that sorted out. The gauge was accurate all along, so I was running pig rich most of the time. Lol
Also got the oil changed and drove it pretty hard tonight. Looks like it may be okay now. *Knock on fuel injectors*
Guess I'll keep my trips local with it for now. Should probably change my plugs...and get a radiator fan...

Two things I need to figure out:
1. How to make the coilovers less bouncy over rough road.
2. When I hit bumps, see if there is a way to prevent myself from bouncing on and off the pedal causing some weird fucking jerking as throttle rapidly changes back and forth...
Definitely annoying when Im trying to accelerate, that happens which i need to wait while the fueling becomes stable again, then hit it.

The jerking was due to Accel enrich settings being way too high and adding a bunch of fuel causing it to bog and surge. Got that mostly dialed.
Next steps:
1. Acquire air dam
2. Finally start looking for tiny rad fans for this thing...
3. Get rid of the stock TB that keeps blowing my ghetto vacuum plugs off.
Also ran into a Cobalt SS last night. Claimed he made 320whp. He ended up getting slayed with a 3rd gear pull

Ended up running into the same guy and a group he was racing with. Turns out he wasn't completely on it, which makes me feel like a nüb.
Tonight's follow up race had me fairly even with him in 2nd, then MP2 3rd killed me, and then the head gasket decided enough was enough. It was interesting seeing the combustion pressure steaming out of the reservoir to say the least.
I guess the car still sounds like it runs good. Hopefully I can find a uhaul thats open tomorrow to get a dolly and retrieve the damn thing. Again

Shifting at 6500 brought me out of full boost. I'd agree with you if I could rev higher and shift later into 3rd. Also I'm not sure how much power was being lost trying to pressurize and superheat the cooling system.

Can't upload pics, but cylinders 1 and 4 burnes the head gasket pretty good. Unfortunately I found that on the exhaust side of the cylinder wall on #4 has a bump with ridges on it, like material was somehow pushed up/uneven. Not sure what can cause that, but I guess it's safe to say it's gotta be bored and I need to find a different set of pistons.
Or I just resleeve that one cylinder, but that's gotta be way more expensive to have GE do that.
