The first goal is to fix the car, lol!. After that, I'm not sure what steps to take yet.. I don't enjoy racing on a straight away, but I like cornering a lot. I think my second goal, if the car is financially fixable, would be to build the car for downhill racing.
I know its fwd, but they have Honda civics built for cornering on tracks so I guess its possible with any fwd?

Does this qualify as "downhill racing"? If so then one goal achieved!

Any drive configuration setup correctly can handle well, whether its FWD/RWD/AWD.
Start looking into H&R or Eibach springs, KYB struts and a thicker rear swaybar.
