    Trouble Uploading Images

I have consistently been having trouble uploading images to my posts from my computer.

I find the file, click upload, there is a short delay then one of two things happens:
Case 1. The image loads. This is the usual ending.
Case 2. I get a window alert that says "Sixthsphere.com says [file name]: Upload of file failed."

If a file fails to upload, that file will always fail to upload. If I re-download the picture to my computer, and then try to upload it again, it fails.

All photos in each case were shot on my iphone and are of type JPEG with .JPG extension.

    What could be going on?

Nope. That was the first thing I thought of. Some images that upload without trouble are larger than the ones that fail.

In addition to that I have tried renaming files to remove spaces.

Here is a google drive folder containing two images that I could not upload no matter how many times I tried. In order to use the images in a post I had to first open it in an image editing app, and save it as a new file. Bear in mind that images shot in the same photo-sequence as each of these had no problems.

Have you tried using the Storage function on the tabs on the top of the page? That's what I've been using since Photobucket kicked us all out.

I have now. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

One image was rejected due to the 2M file size limitation. The other uploaded with no problem.

Which helps, but still doesn't deal with whatever prevents image uploads in a thread.

What might help would be a more meaningful error message. But I don't know how configurable the forum software is or how much time it would take for the admins to reconfigure it. It might end up being one of those things that isn't worth the time it takes to fix.

If you post to a thread then you want to copy the links that are next to or under the photo and then paste them into your message.
