I’m still hoping to participate this year, though it’s likely that my car won’t be at its best; ridesharing is killing my dampers...

I drove the Volvo today, on the highway, and in the city with traffic!

It's odd to drive manual with one hand, but it can be done. I'll at least bring that down, so I'll be quick and loud, if not original to the group.

When my right hand was more useless I found that bringing my left knee up to the bottom of the steering wheel to "grip" it while I shifted with the left hand helped to keep the vehicle from wandering in the lane. It will also give you a mini ab workout.

Glad to hear you are back in it . Keep it up.

When my collar bone was broken, i would lay my right hand in my lap and hold the bottom of the wheel so i could shift with my left hand.

I just got over the torn ACL. I had to use handicap pedals and buy a SOHC Automatic ( ew ) car to get by for a while since my legs couldn't operate the manual transmission

Lucky me I broke my left collar bone 5 years ago... If that's of any luck at all.

Seeing as I've already met my quota for crashing the motorcycle this year, I'll be saddling up Brandon and riding him into the lazy river instead.

I see this as an acceptable alternative and will allow this.

Most likely it is looking like I'm coming. Not sure what car yet, in theory the SL, but more likely the Redline or Volvo.

Key change is that wife is most likely coming too, so add her to our cabin.

We are going to be making the long trip from midwest over 2days, and can adjust our route etc to meet up along the way if anyone wants to.

It'll be nice to make the journey on 4 wheels this year. No more flattening my nuts against a gas tank.

I still have you beat by about 200 miles lol. I'm going to leave for my trip two days earlier than anticipated. Need to stop in Houston for the dyno tune, and then that leaves we a day to derp around some pit stops.
