    Motor mount nut replacements?

Where can I get motor mount locknuts?

They donít seem to be regular old boring hardware store varietals. Are they the kind that deform on first use?

    Nah, don't think so.

Take one down to local hardware or fastener store and match something up.

Since the OEM manual explicitly says and even emphasizes to use new nuts, I ordered these single use prevailing torque lock nuts. The package comes with enough to fit out both Fred and George. (my two black gen3 SC2s)

Re-use every fastener except for rod bolts, head bolts, and Transmission shaft nuts(Depending on who you are).
Also start re-using one thread to ask these types of questions. Creating a new topic for every simple question is getting old.

We never used new nuts at the dealer. We did install new studs to the timing cover though. Just tighten the old nuts down and you are good. I reused mine for almost 20years on many builds.

I always used to original nuts and washers. It was mostly the SF guys who pushed replacing those.
