    Tuning theory books

Can someone recommend a book or two on tuning? Going to be doing the standalone route this year and I'd like to do a bunch of reading on theory.

The corky bell stuff is really good with performance. There are separate books for NA/forced injduction. I have an old worn out copy of the forced induction tuning book that I fall back on from time to time.

If you want something that is about actual fuel/spark tuning, try the book on diyautotune.com. The guys that own the store wrote the book some years back and I hear that it is pretty decent at explaining fuel injected tuning (it can apply to megasuirt stuff but is not solely MS tuning). Its 10% off right now with code: FIREWORKS (the discount ends after 1-3-19.. so you have about 2hrs left to use it).

I can also recommend what Sam posted, also consider High Performance Academy's courses. Some can be a bit pricey but they do a good job of teaching tuning.

So I picked up Bell's Four Stroke Performance Tuning. The book you linked was his FI book and I'm not there quite yet. Id like to rebuild my motor as it was then boost it. The diy book was sold out, I'll pick it up when it becomes available. Thanks!

The na performance corky bell book is great for tuning theory. I got to read through on years back. It has a lot of the same great info that the FI book has but it will be taylored to your application more.
