Thumbs up Vw mk3 coilovers to 99 sl1

I'm new here i registered to see if the forum is active enough or if theres any interest in seeing how I did it.
I had the coilovers laying around from my old car.
It's also not my first time putting coilovers on a car that do not belong there. I love geo trackers noone makes coilovers for them.. anyways

Fronts and rears are very close to the same lengths as the saturns factory struts

Fronts were easy almost a straight swap. Swap top hats and widen holes a tad to line up with the spindle

For the rears, top hat swap. Then onward to cutting off the strut mount from the factory fronts and then welding them to the bottom of the vw coilovers.

That's it. Sorry I'm not allowed to post pictures yet

Interested. Is it more direct a swap than the WRX coils?

I too would like more info. I've been thinking about coilovers for mine all winter.

I would do the Subarus and top hat swap from the saturns. I just did the vws because I had them laying around

I have never seen the subarus in person so I'm not sure what kind of modifications will be needed to make the top hats swap on but. Widen the mounting holes and it would be a pretty straight forward swap then no cutting or welding or mutilating the strut towers would be involved
