    Camshafts...

    So are there any outlets left for cams for first gen engines? Or still just a custom affair?

    There is a place that will do a set of cams for a reasonable price. I can't remember the name but I know American is part of the name.
    Someone should pop in and speak up.

    That's what we have in our drag car, they're a bit radical for a DD with a stock ECU.

    So would a stage 1 grind be more suitable?

    Honestly I don't know, he didn't have an option when we bought them. I just asked him to send me a set. If it's a street car I'd error on the safe side to preserve some low RPM torque. This will give better drivability yet still give a boost up top.
